Today, March 14th, Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles DVD is officially released in Australia by Madman Entertainment. This DVD doesn't include anything really new or different from the American release except the DVD menus are different as we saw from Darkwater's post. This DVD is PAL/Region 4 only. Just like the American release, it ended up in fan's hands a bit early. So, leave a comment and tell us what you think from down under.

Notice that Madman Entertainment has finally removed the misquote of Darkwater's Ain't It Cool News review, and the ludicrously inappropriate "Newtype USA" quote that actually came from Tommy Yune's own mouth.
Unfortunately, that means that Madman had to replace those famous news sources with the less well-known AnimeonDVD.com and the positively obscure Pegasus News and Gamerz Edge. (We know it's hip because of the "z.")
Anyway, Madman have started to plugged Shadow Chronicles along with their other March releases in this month's newsletter, and have a number of a wallpaper up:

But disappointing that they tuned the trailers on the disc towards show they think buyers of TSC would also like like Battle of the Planets, Beast Wars and Gundam Seed, but none for Robotech. Of course they could be operating under the assumption that most of those buying TSC have also bought both versions of RT and the original series and don't need to be sold upon them...
Thanks cyc. Love those wallpaper. Gonna make a post for others to get them.
Update: One of the few sites that Madman Entertainment and Harmony Gold could quote for a positive review on the Shadow Chronicles was shut down, and has been shut down for about a week. A month after its Shadow Chronicles review, the Gamerz Edge is completely gone, with only this message:
Gamerz-Edge is no longer available.
This is where the review used to be.
