Submission Guidelines

I call out to you, the fandom, to help me and your fellow fans to stay up to date with Robotech. This news blog was made to help Robotech fans not only keep up to date with official news, but also make other fans aware of fan projects and events. You can do both by taking the time to submit news and event to this news blog by Robotech Companion.

News Submissions
Please send us any and all news related to Robotech and the fandom. This includes everything from public announcements, interviews, reviews, happenings at a convention, community things, forums, and other merchandise or fandom related things. Please submit news and events from the Robotech forums. Robotech reporting from a convention is very welcomed as well. Anyhow, If it's about Robotech, just send it my way.

Please include: The name you wish to be credited by, a link to the article or source, and your comments. You will receive credit if the material is used. If you wish to write your own report on the news you found, please include it in your email, word for word, and I will copy and paste it into the blog with your name.

When writing your own news report: Be sure to include background information that explains who or what you're talking about in the news article. Articles should always be written clearly and fully explains the message it's getting across. Your total report/article should be no longer than four to five paragraphs. It cannot be less than a paragraph long.

Robotech Projects and Events Fan News
In hopes of uniting the Robotech community together, we will like to bring together all events and happenings in the fandom to one central place. If you are a creator of a Robotech project, have a community get-together (RPG, podcast, talkshow, chat, etc), or related things, we will like to get the news out there. This is a great way to promote your work and keep everyone up to date with your progress.

Article Guidelines: You may submit self-written articles that promote your fan projects/events. These articles may announce the existence of your project/event, major updates, public or trial releases, seeking feedback, or whatever message you're trying to get out there. They may not be related to day-to-day operations. If you're unsure, please contact me.

Writing Guidelines: Articles should always provide introduction background that explains exactly what your project is about, who you are, and the purpose behind it. The main announcement or message of the post should be clearly written and detailed along with the necessary links. The completed article should be emailed to me, word for word, and it will be posted. Your total article should be no longer than four to five paragraphs. It cannot be less than a paragraph long.

Please include: your name or alias, the project's name, typically a link to some type of production home, and your announcement. We will like to ask in exchange for promoting your projects that you provide a link or promotion of the Robotech Companion on your site. Thank you.

If you have any questions or comments, please send them my way. Everything above must be sent by e-mail, not blog comments.
